This summer romper actually started out as a clearance men’s shirt from Kohls! I believe it was a size medium. I carefully cut the front of the romper from the front of the shirt, centering it as much as I could. I cut the legs a bit shorter than the pattern calls for and added skinny bands since I was planning this for a spring/summer size. I used yellow solid cotton lycra from TKBPrints for a bit of contrast and also because I was concerned the tshirt fabric wouldn’t have the recovery of a good cotton lycra! The graphic was VERY crooked on the tshirt, but I was able to straighten it out almost 100% on the romper.
