Cool Dig Site Dinos Part Two

Earlier, I shared the romper I made using this 1 yard rapport of Cool Dig Site fabric from Flying Pig Fabrics. The Rapports have the main panel in the middle and then a strip of coordinate on each side, adding up to a yard total. I used the panel for yesterday’s romper.

I used the two side coordinates for this shorts set for Kai and I still have some very useable sizes of coordinate scraps left!

The shorts are the Brindille & Twig’s Foldover Pocket Pants (short length is an option on this pattern). Bands for the waistband and legs, makes this a super quick and easy sew. I like to modify it to a single layer waistband rather than a foldover waistband. I simply fold the pattern piece in half before cutting to make it narrow rather than wide enough to fold down.

Son of the Maker added the Heat press vinyl cut out to the front of the shirt for me and has provided the cut file for you to download as well (scroll to the bottom of this post for the free cut file download).

I used the scraps from the panel for the sleeves on the shirt.

I love Dino prints so much so this round is one of my favorites!

You can preorder Cool Dig Dinos and other Dinosaur prints (and Cacti/Pandas, too!) currently at Flying Pig Fabrics.

Download the Free Dino Skull Cut File here.  It is a zip file, so you will need to unzip it after you download.
