When I first began making keychain in the hoop on the embroidery machine, I was purchasing my keychain hardware from local craft stores. While I was able to find a good variety of keychain hardware styles locally, it became expensive in a hurry! They were generally only sold a couple in a package for several dollars. I was so happy when I found this very inexpensive lot on Amazon – 50 swivel clasps for only $12.99. I’ve been ordering these for about 2 years now and have been very pleased with them. I have not had a single one break and they have been the perfect size for my keychains.
As much as I loved the swivel clasp keychain hardware, I wanted to switch it up a bit. I found these swivel clasp keychain rings for a slightly different look. As much as I loved them, I again needed a bulk purchase option!
I found these near duplicates at Amazon for an amazing price of $9.99. Please note, while the description says 100 pieces, it is actually 50 of the clasps and 50 of the rings. You open the rings to slide over the lower loop of the clasp. We have given away so many keychains snap pouches this year for birthday gifts, adding a little cash into the pouch! They are always a big hit!

Those were some I bought a couple of years ago. I am currently looking for a source myself. 🙂
