All this summer, my honorary granddaughter, Maelynn, is spending Tuesdays with us! We are spending lots of time playing with bubbles and the water table, visiting the splash pad and enjoying outside activities!
Kai 5210 8-inch Dressmaking Shears (N5210)
This week Nana made another version of the Rozzlyn dress for Maelynn! I had made the Flutter Sleeve version of the Rozzlyn dress pattern by Max & Meena last week and it fit so well and she loved it so much that I decided to make the short sleeve version. This time I added the optional hood as well. I had plenty of the Paisley Mickey fabric to work with so I decided to make the entire hoodie dress from this print. I lined the hood with a matching solid raspberry.
Adding short sleeves and a hood were even easier than the flutter sleeves and neckband. The pattern also includes versions for flutter and long sleeves. There’s a peplum length and/or a handkerchief hem version as well. You can even leave the hood off and add a plain neckband.
