Well, if you haven’t noticed, we LOVE Fall at our house! We love decorating the front porch, we love going to choose pumpkins, we love Fall clothing and we LOVE Halloween!
So when Snowy Owl Custom Fabric sent me this awesome Autumn Inspired fall fabric, I was happy to sew up something else for Kai’s first Halloween!
He already has a closet full of Halloween outfits, but that’s okay! After Halloween/Thanksgiving, we will pack them all away for a future #imaginarycousin or #imaginarysibling!
I love this Autumn Inspired fabric so much! It is covered in fun Halloween and Thanksgiving graphics of all our favorite characters! And the matching Naptime panel was my favorite of all!
For this two piece fabric I chose the free Ringer Tee and the Ice Cream Pants patterns both by Brindille & Twig! It’s a little large on Kai as I sized up so it will still fit come Halloween! This time I left the bottom band off of the ringer tee as the pants are a little busier than I usually sew.
I paired the Naptime Snoopy panel and the matching fabric from Snowy Owl with this great orange stripe I’ve had in my stash awhile.
I love the color blocking on the Ice Cream Pants! These are a very quick and easy sew! i substituted a yoga waistband for the elastic waistband.
For the little “pumpkin” hat I used the Beanie free pattern from Made For Mermaids! I added a small green loop of ribbon at the very top for a stem.
I just kind of winged sewing the Trick Or Treat bag, making a fabric handle and blocking the bottom corners.
