So the best part of sewing strike offs for a teenager is they’re so cooperative come photo shoot time, right?
Nothing like a natural smile!
Sarah loves her new fox hoodie so much – she’s even worn it already although our temps are still very warm! So I had to make her another and this time with a sleeve pocket! She was quite impressed!
When Sarah first saw this Moon Kitty fabric that is o preorder at Total Eclipse of the Stitch she was crazy for it! She loves cats (one of our dogs sadly does not!), moons, and purple! It combined all of her favorites!
Total Eclipse of the Stitch Preorder
Hope not only sent a nice big piece of the main print (enough for the front AND to line the hood with!), she also included the cutest little doll sized panel. It made the perfect sleeve pocket!
I used the Relaxed Raglan and Raglan Add On patterns by Patterns For Pirates. This is the regular hood version from the Add On pattern. The pocket was just a square that I hemmed and stitched onto the sleeve before assembling.
The blue fabric is a double brushed polyester I’ve had in my stash for some time. It makes for a nice lightweight hoodie and is incredibly soft inside.
Sarah is quite the glamor girl in the first photo. She has grow into a beautiful young woman. I love this hoodie, the fabric is really cute.
