I am not a stranger to Peek-a-boo Pattern Shop! I already have sewn and loved many of their patterns. Probably my favorite of all is the Jack Frost Stocking Hat!  For this blog tour, I knew I wanted to sew up a stocking hat, but I also wanted to sew a new to me pattern.  I chose the Happy Feet pattern as it had a new to me feature – built in pajama feet!  I’ve always avoided these thinking they would be a pain, but they were so easy to sew.  I’d say they’re actually just as quick as cuffs.  The Happy Feet pattern includes both the footed pajama bottoms and the raglan style pajamas top. I sized up a little to make sure our set would still fit two months from now for Christmas!

The print fabric I used is Doodles Christmas Sloth from Joann Fabrics. This is part of JoAnn Fabrics line of knits. It generally costs around $9.99 and often goes on sale for 40% off or even more making it a very economical choice for those who are sewing on a tight budget!  They have some really cute prints. Some have spandex but others are 100% cotton so you’ll need to choose a different cotton/lycra coordinate with better recovery for bands, cuffs, etc.

The red and white stripe is from TKBprints.  I love these stripes so much and really stocked up last year to make sure I’d have enough for this year’s Christmas sewing!

The little Christmas Sloth stuff was from Pier 1 last year, but I believe they also have it for sale again this year.
